NIR-7000 Online Moisture Analyzer – Precision Industrial Process Control

Advanced NIR Moisture Analysis for Real-Time Process Optimization

The NIR-7000 Online Moisture Analyzer by KPM Analytics is a next-generation industrial NIR sensor engineered for real-time, non-contact moisture measurement in demanding process environments. Designed as an upgrade to the Sensortech NIR-6000, the NIR-7000 features an enhanced optical platform for high-accuracy moisture analysis, ensuring optimal drying, yield maximization, and energy savings.

With an IP65-rated enclosure, thermal-cooled detector, and modular architecture, the NIR-7000 is built for continuous online monitoring in paper, textiles, chemicals, minerals, bioenergy, and wood-based industries.

Key Features:

Highly Accurate Moisture Measurement

  • Uses near-infrared reflectance (NIR) technology for ± 0.1% moisture accuracy.
  • Supports moisture measurement ranges from 0% to 95%.

Rugged & Industrial-Ready Design

  • IP65-rated for dust and water resistance, ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Operates in temperatures from 0°C to 55°C (extendable to -20°C or 85°C with cooling / heating options).

Flexible Installation Options

  • Mounts over conveyor belts, screw conveyors, or through sight glass windows.
  • Supports multiple measurement distances (200-450mm / 8-18 in.) for different applications.

Seamless Process Integration & Automation

  • Featured up to four (4) 4-20mA outputs for direct PLC integration.
  • Compatible with Ethernet TCP/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus TCP, and more.

User-Friendly Software & Multi-System Monitoring

  • SensorVu Windows-based software for setup, calibration, and remote monitoring.
  • Connects multiple NIR-7000 units for centralized industrial process control.

 Application Across Industries:

  • Building & Wood Products – Moisture control in fiberboard, veneer, resin, and composite materials.
  • Minerals & Ores – Real-time monitoring of bauxite, iron ore, and granular materials.
  • Paper & Textiles – Ensuring uniform moisture levels in paper production and textile processing.
  • Converting & Coatings – Measuring moisture and coat weight in plastic films and laminates.
  • Bioenergy & Biomass Processing – Moisture control in wood pellets, hog fuel, and wood chips.
